What stood out today: 3: 11, 12 My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline and do not resent His rebuke, v12 because the Lord disciplines those He loves, as a Father the son he delights in.
My response: Father, God, these are difficult times and there are many reasons to discipline. Father, God, whatever it takes to bring me to your redemptive potential; whatever it takes to free me from any idols; whatever it takes to bring me to the Christ LIFE. Do whatever you need to do in your perfect loving will. And I praise you and love you and look forward not only to the results but also the process.
